I established Millenium Insurance Group with the goal of creating a company where insurance advisers operated in the best interests of their clients. We are an insurance company where advisers take the time to understand our clients’ needs and only ever do what is best for them. As a result, we are privileged to have many long-term clients.
As an insurance adviser myself (I am a member of the Sovereign Qualifying Financial Entity) I have experienced the personal satisfaction of knowing I have done the right thing for my clients when it comes to claim time. My primary motivation is safeguarding the future financial wellbeing of my clients in both their home and business lives. If the right insurance plans are put in place, our clients not only have peace of mind they, their families and business interests are protected, they receive the knowledge their future is secure.
Away from the office, I enjoy travelling with my best friend and wife of 34 years, Suzanne. Together, we raised our seven children and are now the proud grandparents of 13 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

My passion for the insurance industry and securing my clients’ future has seen me become the only female insurance adviser in New Zealand to qualify as Top of the Table (TOT) of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in 2018 and the first and only adviser in New Zealand to achieve the highest award in the Asian financial insurance industry, the IDA Platinum Award.
I am also committed to the communities I work in and am an avid supporter of Canteen, Cure for Kids, Hope for Pearl and other charity organisations. I have also been volunteering for the Asian Animal Foundation for many years.

Based in Hamilton but with clients all over New Zealand, I have spent almost 50 years in the insurance industry. I believe face-to-face communication is key in this job, and genuine care about what a client requires is essential.

Outside of the office, family time is important to me. My wife, Kuljeet, a senior science consultant, and I have brought up our two sons, Devon and Shaan. Both are keen sports enthusiasts both on and off the field like me. I have also spent time coaching junior cricket.
Something a lot of people don’t know about me is that I am quite superstitious – so Friday the 13th is always an interesting time with me!

Based in the sunny Bay of Plenty, I work with many families to put in place protection plans for their future. As a father of three children myself, I know how important that peace of mind is in the event that anything should happy to you. I’m a proud King Country native, having lived in Taumarunui my entire life. It’s a region which I am passionate about as it provides a central location and more outdoor opportunities than most.
Following secondary school I moved into the meat industry as a meat inspector for 17 years. During this time, I also spent brief periods working at Whakapapa ski fields.
I am an avid sports competitor and fan. Over the years, and along with my two older children, my main participation has been with squash, rugby and snow skiing. I have also served on several administrative committees and boards within these sports. In 2011 I was appointed as a Justice of the Peace for New Zealand to serve the community.
With personal experience in both death and serious illness of key family members and close friends, I have developed a huge sense of the importance in having the right risk insurance plan in place. Getting the best quality advice is crucial and I pride myself on providing my clients with risk solutions centred around their needs.

I began working at Millenium Insurance Group in 2011 as the receptionist, and have worked my way up to compliance manager/personal assistant to Gary Robertson and Andrea Liddle – with the birth of my son and maternity leave along the way.
I am the person behind the scenes, when an adviser is unavailable, I step in to help where I can. As compliance manager, I take all information gathered during a client’s appointment, and enter it into at he Statement of Advice Portfolio, outlining the client’s concerns, goals and what kind of insurance best suits them and their family’s needs.
When it comes to clients, my approach is to be kind and friendly. I like to start and end conversations on common ground, whether that’s the weather or children! I also have a great lolly jar, which has won me a few hearts this year!
I grew up in Raglan with the beach at my door, so being outside with nature is a favourite pastime for my son and I.

As personal assistant for Ashley, I am responsible for supporting him and other advisers, preparing policy information, basic alterations and administering claim documentation. There’s not a lot I don’t know about insurance or the process. I believe insurance is an integral part of all our lives but it’s essential to have the right insurance for your individual situation.
Outside of the office, my husband Chris and I are kept on our toes by our young daughter. We love spending family time at The Mount. I’m also a great supporter of small locally-owned businesses. Sometimes my credit card balance shows just how great a supporter I am!

I joined Millenium Insurance after many years working at AIA New Zealand where I headed up the New Business team. I was also responsible for working on an AIA shared services project. My time in the insurance industry has instilled in me the importance of having a flexible approach to decisions. This flexibility ensures our team can deliver bespoke protection plans to our clients.

Prior to my time in the insurance industry, I spent 10 years working in the travel industry and it’s fair to say I caught the travel bug as a result so I am always planning the next adventure.
